China’s JD embarks on its ChatGPT variant amidst local regulatory concerns

Back in February, China’s JD.com announced that it will launch its own ChatGPT-style project. It has been dubbed ChatJD.com, and according to the company will follow a “1-2-5” roadmap. This is broken down to one platform (ChatJD), two industries (retail and finance), and five applications (content generation and information).
