Ormiston Town Centre launches Auckland’s newest dining hub

Auckland’s newly opened shopping destination, Ormiston Town Centre, has opened a dining hub for foodies.

Dubbed ‘The Eatery, the new eating area houses more than 25 restaurants, bars and cafes, including Divine Patisserie and American-inspired hotdog store Good Dog Bad Dog.

The Eatery features floor-to-ceiling windows and interiors that “draw reference to Auckland’s dramatic geological history, following an abstract pathway under the Southern sky”. Outdoor bars and restaurants include Moo Moo Smokehouse & Grill, Melt Soul Food, Journal Cafe and Bird on Wire.

“We’ve had some great feedback from the Ormiston community and wider public about the hidden gems at Ormiston Town Centre,” said Monique Matthews, marketing manager of the shopping centre.

“With most of our food and beverage outlets now open, August felt like the right time to shout about it.”

Opening its doors in March, Ormiston Town Centre is Auckland’s newest shopping mall, offering supermarkets, gyms, a cinema complex, department stores, food and beverage outlets, and a mix of health and beauty and speciality services.
