Mediaworks has broadcast the first open to air radio advertising across Auckland for NZvapor.com.

This is a first, as prior to the broadcast the advertising of electronic cigarettes had been opposed.

NZ Vapor, an electronic cigarette superstore supplier of starter kits, juices, and hardware, is intent on becoming an accepted product.

According to NZ Vapor‘s MD, QJ Satchell, e-cigarettes have been embraced worldwide, necessitating that New Zealand re-examine its smoke free parameters to meet consumer demand.

“NZvapor.com strives to be and industry leader and I hope that this step helps to break down a few walls for the industry,” said Satchell.

“We have worked very hard to ensure that our business is compliant with NZ laws and to be able to tell people that now is a huge deal for us. With these ads we are able to reach out to a whole new client base that until now has been fairly inaccessible.”
