Cooks Coffee, the operator of Esquires Coffee, has entered into a master franchise agreement to bring the chain to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The ten-year agreement will bring a minimum of 50 Esquires Coffee stores to the UAE, one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for specialty coffee.
Cooks Coffee acquired the global rights to the organic coffee brand Esquires in 2013. The chain has seen success in the UK and Ireland as part of its global expansion.
“This master franchise agreement marks another important milestone in the international development of the Esquires Coffee Brand,” Keith Jackson, chairman of Cooks Coffee Company, said.
“The UAE represents an attractive burgeoning market and we look forward to rapidly building the brand in the region over the coming years.”
In the first-half of the 2026 financial year, Cooks saw its revenues grow by 111 per cent. Group EBITDA for the period was $610,000, compared with $810,000 in the previous year.
