New Zealand’s plant-based milk brand, Boring Oat Milk, has launched into more than 1000 Woolworths stores across Australia, marking its largest supermarket rollout to date.

Boring’s Original and Barista oat milk varieties are available in 953 Woolworths supermarkets, covering 95 per cent of its national network, along with 80 Woolworths Metro stores.

The move marks Boring’s first major entry into the Australian retail market, following a strong growth through grocers, cafes and specialty outlets.

“This is a key step in our mission to bring premium, locally made oat milk to more people without compromising on taste, sustainability or quality,” said founder Morgan Maw.

“We know that Australians are turning to premium plant-based products more than ever, and Boring is ready to meet that demand with a product that’s simple, sustainable and made for everyday use.”

Backed by The Apple Press, Boring Oat Milk launched in 2021 and began its international expansion in 2024 with entry into Vietnam, with plans to extend further across the Asia-Pacific region.

Last year, New Zealand’s oat milk start-ups Otis and All Good joined forces to establish a new plant-based company to broaden the range of sustainable beverage options.
