Macpac is to sponsor the One New Zealand expedition race after partnering with race organiser Godzone, owned by Pure Adventure Charitable Trust.

Macpac will provide competitors and volunteers participating in the 650km race with outdoor gear, including select outerwear, technical tees, race bibs, and accessories. 

“It’s not just about performance, it’s about resilience. One NZ Godzone athletes embody that, and our gear is built with the same mindset,” Cathy Seaholme, Macpac’s MD.

“Supporting One NZ Godzone as a premier partner and exclusive apparel and pack provider is a natural extension of what we believe in: Pushing further, going deeper, and weathering anything,” said Seaholme.

The event will begin in Marlborough, where participants will race a 650km course in the region’s wilderness areas in November.

Last year, Macpac opened a new store in Christchurch’s Papanui, marking the brand’s 100th store in the country.
