Peter Jueptner will step down as group president, International of The Estee Lauder Companies later this year.
Jueptner has decided to step down from his role on April 1 and to leave the company on June 30.
He joined Estee Lauder in 2009 as senior VP, Strategy, New Business Development and Transformation Initiatives and was promoted to president, EMEA in 2016.
He became group president, International in 2022, leading the company’s international organization and overseeing relationships with key global retailers and commercial partners.
During his tenure, Jueptner led the transformation of the company’s global commercial organization to respond to consumer needs across geographies and channels.
“Peter has been one of the key architects of The Estee Lauder Companies, helping to expand our brand portfolio, grow our global footprint, and enhance the ways we work together across teams and geographies to serve our global consumers,” said William P Lauder, chair of the board.
“His combination of strategic expertise and commercial acumen has left an indelible imprint on the enterprise,” added Lauder.
Estee Lauder reported a 4 per cent sales decline for the first quarter of FY25, attributed to low consumer sentiment in the Chinese market.
