Outdoor clothing and equipment brand Macpac has opened a store in Northlink Shopping Centre, in Christchurch’s Papanui, marking the brand’s 100th store in the country.
The brand’s largest store yet, it offers increased display space showcasing an expanded lineup of outdoor apparel and adventure gear.
Featuring a fresh concept, the renovated store, one of six Macpac locations in the city, provides an extended space and upgraded fitting rooms furnished with a care and repair station, water refill station, and a rest area.
The opening will also showcase several outdoor national brands such as Allbirds, Yeti, Zempire and Sea to Summit. Its highlights include cooking demonstrations, limited edition T-shirt deals, in-store boot-fitting services, giveaways and spin-and-win competitions.
“Opening our 100th store in Otautahi Christchurch is a significant milestone for Macpac. Our journey began over 50 years ago, and it’s incredibly special to celebrate our continued growth and ongoing success in our hometown,” said Cathy Seaholme, Macpac MD.
“We hope Cantabrians enjoy this new space as much as we have enjoyed creating it.”
