Products including cleansers, eye creams, body washes and healing balms have been rewarded in the Best of Natural Awards 2022, one of Aotearoa’s largest awards in natural health, beauty and eco-living.
The awards, which were held in collaboration with Good magazine and HealthPost, garnered more than 400 entries across six categories.
The judges, including cosmetic chemist Liz McNamara, beauty expert Sara Corleison and wellness expert Rachel Grunwell, spent hours testing and trialling the products before deciding on the 37 category winners.
“Not only do the 2022 Best of Natural Awards celebrate the best of the best but also up-and-coming Aotearoa brands who are making a difference with a commitment to sustainable change,” said Good magazine editor Carolyn Enting.
“The awards are about celebrating these brands who are making a positive difference for people and the planet. It’s heartening to see so many established and emerging brands operating in this space.”
Along with the previously mentioned categories of skincare and make-up, hair and body, health supplements, and eco-living, two new categories this year were added: Food and drink and best brands.
The winners include:
- Cleanse – NUN Pure Facial Cleanser.
- Eye Cream – ManukaRX Pro-aging Eye Cream.
- Serum – Living Nature Advanced Renewal Night Serum.
- Body Wash, Soaps & Scrubs – Only Good Calm Natural Body Wash.
- Body Lotion, Oils, Butter – Weleda Skin Food Body Butter.
- Healing Balm – OKU Kawakawa & Arnica Balm.
Consumers can access the winners’ list via the Good magazine website and can vote for the Best of Natural Awards People’s Choice Award from September 21 to October 17.
