Sportscraft parent APG & Co appoints new CEO

Australian fashion and lifestyle retailer APG & Co has appointed Elisha Hopkinson as its new CEO. 

APG & Co owns Australian fashion brands Sportscraft, Saba and Jag. The company operates around 200 brick-and-mortar stores across Australia and New Zealand, along with concessions in David Jones department stores.

Hopkinson has more than 14 years of experience working within the fashion industry both in Australia and internationally. She was integral in developing the company’s group strategy for its brands in the past.

Hopkinson commences in her new role on Monday (February 28).

Former CEO Martin Matthews will be leaving the business due to changes in organisational structure. During his tenure of over 15 months, he contributed to the growth of the company’s brands globally, APG & Co said.
