Ormiston Town Centre boasts new stores in post-Covid reopening

Ormiston Town Centre has unveiled a line up of more than 22 new retail tenants set to open in the shopping centre.

“Currently works are underway to open 22 more premises between November and early February including a vet, dentist, laundromat, real estate agency and childcare,” the company said in a statement.

About 14 new retailers, ranging from fashion, accessories and F&B, will launch at Ormiston Town Centre ahead of Christmas, including Postie, Christies and Novo Shoes.

“We have a strong pipeline of store openings over the next six months,” Leonard. “When we are able to meaningfully open our doors again the Ormiston community can expect a lot more to see and do with a broader footwear, women’s fashion, cosmetics and accessories offering complementing our established mix.”

According to Sean Leonard, development manager at Todd Property Group, interest in Ormiston Town Centre has been consistent from both international and locally owned retail operators despite the lockdowns in the country. Recently, the centre welcomed the additions of Australian Platypus & Skechers to the tenant retail mix.

“We are tracking well to open in time for Christmas shopping and will hopefully be able to welcome customers into our new store on opening,” said Paul Webber, national retail manager at Postie.
