Eighty global brands and retailers, including major names such as H&M, Zara, Uniqlo, Asos, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Puma, have signed an agreement with trade unions and factory owners to extend protections for garment workers in Bangladesh.  Taking effect today, the two-year deal ensures signatory brands and retailers remain legally liable for unsafe working conditions in the factories they source from, a key provision in the landmark Bangladesh Accord on Fire and Building Safety, w
