Striking blue retail complex in Willis Street, Wellington which has been home to Burger Liquor restaurant since 2014 is up for sale. 

Spanning two stories and located near the intersection of Willis and Manners Streets, the building is occupied by Burger Liquor on the ground floor while co-working space provider Digital Nomad occupies the entire upper floor. 

According to Bayley Real Estate, Burger Liquor’s lease will last until the end of 2030, while Digital Nomad’s has an expiry of 2026 with right of renewal.

The 580sqm building features street murals on its wall created by American muralist Stainer. It also includes a basement and additional storage area with roller door, sits on a compact 214sqm site which has one boundary to Ellers Avenue.

The complex had previously been home to Casablanca Restaurant, then the cowboy-themed establishment Armadillo’s, followed by a couple of incarnations of the Crazy Horse Steakhouse.

The property, marketed by Fraser Press and Mark Walker of Bayleys Wellington Commercial, will be auctioned on July 8.
