Offcut launches limited-edition cap design with Kathmandu

Local sustainable-caps brand Offcut has partnered with Kiwi outdoor gear label Kathmandu in a co-branded collection.

The limited-edition five-panel cap will feature Kathmandu’s fabric made from reclaimed marine and coastal plastic. The Offcut x Kathmandu Collection will be launched on Friday (June 4).

“The partnership with Kathmandu made sense as an opportunity to showcase both brands’ continued efforts to be leaders in the apparel market,” said Jeff Ward, co-owner of Offcut, “to help connect our customers to their clothes, and simply show that by working together we can create and have an impact.

“We never want to do something for the sake of it, so we’ve been searching for the right brand to collaborate with for a while”.

Founded in 2015, Offcut transforms fashion waste – including scraps, samples, and offcuts – into quality caps and hats.
