Mary Kay appoints new president for Asia Pacific region Beauty brand Mary Kay has named Wendy Wang president of its Asia Pacific region operations. In her new role, Wang — who recently held the position of chief commercial officer for the brand’s Asia Pacific sector — will provide strategic vision and leadership while working to create growth for the company in the region. She joined Mary Kay in 2002 as counsel in the brand’s Corporate Legal Department and shortly thereafter began a multi-year assignment in China. “Wendy is passionate for the Mary Kay independent sales force and is a proven leader within Mary Kay,” said David Holl, Mary Kay chairman and chief executive officer. “During her tenure, she has tirelessly built a strong and talented legal team that created a culture of compliance and compassion for China and the entire Asia Pacific Region. Sarah Mensah has been appointed vice president and general manager of the company’s North American operations.  Amy Montagne was named as the new vice president and general manager for Nike’s Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA) division, sliding into the role that Mensah previously held. Aaron Cain was appointed the vice president and general manager of Nike Men’s. All roles are effective immediately. Both Mensah and Montagne report to Heidi O’Neill, president of consumer and marketplace. “Sarah and Amy are two dynamic leaders, bringing deep experience and expertise to these important roles,” said O’Neill. “Sarah has continually demonstrated her ability to deliver strong results across our geographic and Jordan Brand businesses and I look forward to her bringing those skills to the North America team.
