Canada Goose appoints its first Asia-Pacific president

Canada Goose has named Scott Cameron as its first Asia Pacific president.

The appointment will take effect from April 1. In his new role, Cameron will be responsible for all marketing and commercial activity within the Apac region.

“Scott has been instrumental in ensuring the highest level of operational excellence throughout our stores globally, building our business in Greater China and providing an exceptional level of support to the executive team for the past five years,” said Dani Reiss, president and CEO of Canada Goose.

“This appointment is a reflection of his relentless efforts and the success he has helped to drive in the region.”

Cameron joined the company in 2016 as chief strategy and business development officer. Before being appointed as Apac president, he held the president role of the Greater China region and was responsible for the development and growth of the brand’s direct-to-consumer global channels.

Canada Goose has also appointed Michael D Armstrong, who is currently executive VP at ViacomCBS, to its board as an independent director.
