NZ dollar rises

The New Zealand dollar rose Thursday morning, trading at 65.60 US cents, up from yesterday’s 65.58 US cents.

The kiwi was at 65.27 US cents on Tuesday.

The risk-sensitive currency lost ground against its major counterparts earlier this week as it fell from last week’s highs.

Last week, market optimism and upbeat NZ data have extended the New Zealand dollar’s recovery moves but its recovery seems to be running out of steam.
