NZ dollar strengthens
The New Zealand dollar has strengthened Thursday, trading at 61.27 US cents up from yesterday’s 60.98 US cents.
The local currency was at 60.43 US cents on Tuesday.
Global investors have taken notice of the country’s impressive method in combating the spread of the coronavirus and how it is now beginning to rebuild its economy.
The wave of optimism about the prospects for a COVID-19 vaccine has also given the global markets a boost.
