NZ dollar rises

The New Zealand dollar has risen against its US counterpart Tuesday, trading at 65.53 US cents from yesterday afternoon’s 65.49 US cents.

According to the XE morning update, this afternoon Australia’s NAB business confidence report along with China’s CPI and PPI data releases will dictate short-term direction for both the NZD and AUD.

The updated added that surprisingly, and with the US set to raise tariffs on Chinese imports on the 15th, there has been little in the way of trade negotiation headlines so far this week.
