NZ dollar up

The New Zealand dollar rose Wednesday, trading at 63.33 US cents at 0800 in Wellington, up from 62.83 cents yesterday. The trade-weighted index was at 70.86 from 70.52.


The local currency was at 93.63 Australian cents from 93.65, at 52.38 British pence from 52.20, at 57.70 euro cents from 57.43, at 67.15 yen from 66.79 and at 4.5448 Chinese yuan from 4.5123.
