Poll: Where are you looking to expand?

It’s no secret that demand for New Zealand brands has skyrocketed in China in recent years, and many retail businesses have capitalised on overseas consumers’ association of nature, health and quality manufacturing with the country.

But stories like Allbirds prove that China isn’t the only fertile market for expansion. The shoe brand has enjoyed incredible success in the US market in recent years, while Christchurch-based outdoor brand, Alchemy Equipment, has found a foothold in high-end ski resort towns in Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The options are endless – so we’re curious: Where is your business looking to expand next? Vote in our latest poll here, and share your thoughts on the opportunities and pitfalls of international expansion in the comment section below!
