The new 3392sqm store, located in Queenstown, features Kmart’s new store layout being rolled out nationally with an elevated interior, updated central self-serve check outs, wider aisles for easy wheel chair and pram access and bolder graphics for navigation.
Kmart Queenstown is the second store Kmart has opened in New Zealand this year with more to be announced later this year.
Jamie Carmichael, store manager, said he and his wider management team were proud of the journey they had been on with Kmart Queenstown.
