Online pharmacy retailer, Budget Pharmacy, is partnering with sports clubs across New Zealand to help them create new avenues to generate revenue.

Budget Pharmacy, launched six years again and currently selling to online customers across New Zealand and Australia, has been involved in supporting grassroots sports in New Zealand for 30 years.

“We know the financial constraints a budding sport club faces and the difficulties with which they collect funds,” a Budget Pharmacy spokesperson told news website, Scoop. “With quite a number of clubs competing for the fund, funding agencies are not a reliable option. Witnessing umpteen numbers of sports clubs getting their fund requests rejected, Budget Pharmacy is creating an avenue where these sports club can generate money for themselves.”

The partnership will see Budget Pharmacy give five per cent of sales transactions from sports club members back to the sports clubs via www.budgetpharmacy.co.nz/sports. Customers can nominate their sports club of choice to receive the rebate – which will come in the form of a cheque at the end of each month.

Budget Pharmacy says the estimated minimum spend per transaction from its customers is, “at least $100 a month”.
