Elephant Stripes launches Kickstarter campaign

elephant stripes 2Online start-up, Elephant Stripes, has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its custom designed travel products for women.

Launched last month by two young New Zealanders, Jordan Abrahams and Francesca Logan, Elephant Stripes sells online a product range that includes suitcases, duffel bags, folding bags, patterned packing cells, and cosmetic cases, among others.

After launching its website, the new company recently launched their travel packs on crowdfunding platform, Kickstarter. On Kickstarter customers can pre-order the products, which are then manufactured and delivered to them by October at the latest.

“We believe your travel gear should be as exciting as your travels are,” said Elephant Stripes co-founder, Jordan Abrahams.

Abrahams said they started the company after having difficulty picking travel gear that, “looked good”.

“We want our customers to be proud of their bag as it’s coming down the luggage carousel, and for their bags to be a visual expression of their style and personality while they travel,” co-founder Francesca Logan said.

As part of their Kickstarter campaign, the co-founders will be donating a school bag to an Indonesian child for every bag sold. The co-founders plan to use recycled fabrics in the future.
