Unichem, Life Pharmacies stock HoneyLab products

HoneyLabHoneyLab has announced today that it has appointed Green Cross Health, the primary health care company that includes Unichem and Life Pharmacies, as the company’s exclusive New Zealand retail partner for its medical honey and bee venom products. The agreement now gives Kiwis easy access to HoneyLab products in the 276 Unichem and 55 Life Pharmacies across NZ.

HoneyLab is currently experiencing strong demand for its products after a series of very positive clinical trial results showing the company’s medical honey and bee venom products to be effective in treating conditions including acne, rosacea, nappy rash and cold sores.

HoneyLab’s CEO, Laurence Greig, says that the company is delighted to be working with Green Cross Health. “We had no hesitation in signing with Green Cross Health when the opportunity became available. Although we are in discussions to license our products globally, we are very keen to make them easily available to New Zealanders. Green Cross Health, one of NZ’s largest retailers, is best placed in our view to help us achieve this.

“We’ve seen an increasing local demand for HoneyLab’s products over the past year which is fantastic. Kiwis are always keen to not only support local natural products, but also those products that are backed up by strong scientific evidence. HoneyLab undertakes a large number of robust clinical trials to prove the company’s products work.”

HoneyLab is a NZ pharmaceutical company with several platforms of clinical research, including dermatology, pain, and nutrition. The company plans to license products to pharmaceutical companies once effectiveness and safety have been proven. HoneyLab is already in discussions with several of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies.
