Flicks’ Show Me The Movie

FlicksFlicks, New Zealand’s most comprehensive and popular movie publication, has introduced Show Me The Movie, a website designed to cut through the confusion of on demand video.

Flicks.co.nz highlights where to go out for entertainment, covers the latest releases in cinemas, hosts a varied team of reviewers, showcases interviews with both international and local actors and filmmakers, and welcomes enthusiasts to share their thoughts on films of all genres.

Furthermore, it is now introducing its sister site, www.showmethemovie.co.nz, highlighting where New Zealanders can go for entertainment without leaving the comfort of home.

Show Me the Movie is a free and easy to use tool that enables consumers to search for any movie available, either online (pay-per-view or subscription) or via DVD rental in NZ. Its content varies widely across on demand providers and it cuts through catalogue confusion to quickly tell movie buffs where they can watch their film of choice.

“At Flicks we love movies – going to them, writing about them, and talking to the people that make them,” says Flicks editor, Steve Newall. “But sometimes, maybe when you’re still in bed, you just want to find out what to watch right there and then, free from confusion about which service has what content. That’s where Show Me The Movie comes in.”

Show Me The Movie currently lists providers Quickflix, Netflix, Neon, Fatso, NZ Film On Demand, iTunes and Google Play.
